I came here to study for a few hours in the afternoon. The coffee shop is hip and clean, with very modern decor. I tried two different teas. I started with a hot matcha sweetened with simple syrup. I liked the flavor of the matcha and the simple syrup provided sweetness without making it feel syrupy or overly sweet. I also liked that you could customize the sweetness of the matcha instead of it being presweetened. I then tried the iced citrus green tea with simple syrup as sweetener. The citrus flavor overpowered the green tea flavor and tasted kind of syrupy, despite the only added syrup being simple syrup. I have heard good things about the pastries offered here, but today they were sold out. The baristas were all kind and helpful, especially Emily and Jack. My one issue today with the store itself was that the baristas had the front door open but it was raining today, and so I was very cold because my chair was in line with the open door. Also the current bathroom is outside, so I had to go out in the rain to use it, but it seems as though they are doing some construction that may alleviate that issue soon. This coffee shop has a really cute patio area as well for when the weather is nice that I hope to enjoy soon.

Breakfast burritos here were delicious! This coffee shop is right off of Main St, behind the Philly's Cheesesteak place. There's both indoor & outdoor seating available, with outdoor seating covered to give some shade. There's a parking lot off Center Ave, or street parking on Main. Can get a bit busy but the employees are friendly & our service was quick!

We stopped by Component on our way home from visiting Sequoia National Park. For a Sunday morning, almost all the indoor and outdoor seating was packed. A few people are on their laptops doing work, while some people are conversing with others. Cool, hip interior. The menu has a nice variety without being too overwhelming. I ordered an iced sweet latte with oat milk and my boyfriend had the cortado. My drink had the perfect blend of creaminess and sweetness, whereas my boyfriend found his drink a bit too bitter for his taste. The staff members are both friendly and knowledgeable, and there is ample parking available.

cute coffee shop in the downtown visalia area! parking: there is street parking nearby & also their own parking lot. it can get busy on weekends indoor & outdoor seating is available! this is a good place to catch up on work as there are a lot of seats & tables. the inside is spacious with lots of seating. i ordered the matcha latte. it was good, definitely more on the sweet side more than actual bitter taste of matcha.

During our short stay in the area my husband and I found this place while taking a walk around downtown Visalia. My first thoughts were that it was in a nice little spot tucked away from the main road but easy to get to. The vibes felt good and I loved that it was in an older building. We were greeted once we entered and our barista was very friendly! He even talked about the history of the building before it was a coffee shop. Our drinks tasted great and we were enjoying the chill atmosphere. If I lived here I would definitely be studying with a cup of coffee. There's indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking outside the building.

I stopped by Component prior to heading back to SoCal, and it was a great experience. I ordered a matcha latte and an avocado toast, and the matcha latte was okay (not the best, not the worst), and the avocado toast was incredible. I added a little honey on top from the packets on the table, and it added the perfect amount of sweetness. My friends ordered the burrito, which took longer to make but it was made fresh and each half was wrapped separately which was nice.

We stopped by Component on our way to Sequoia National. I love that they're open early to catch those heading out and wanting a good cup of coffee for the drive. I ordered a cortado, the hubby and iced vanilla latte with almond and a drip on the side. The coffee was fantastic, smooth, rich, and not bitter. We took two bag of beans to go and just finished the last batch at home. We also grabbed a vanilla cardamom donut and a jalapeño popper-esque pastry to go. The pastry was awesome, flaky, had a kick, saltiness from the bacon, and cream cheese balanced it. I'd highly recommend this shop and will return the next time we're up there. The service wasn't spectacular but it was 7am after all, so I'll give them a pass.

Actually, Visalia was my least of the places that I expected to see a great place for coffee. The shop has an ample parking space, modern industrial style ambiance and great baristas. When I arrived in the late morning , the place was already full and had to wait a good 30 minutes in line. Surprisingly, they have great breakfast plates in menu. I really recommend to try Component Plate. Simple and healthy. As a coffee company, they are one of the mainstream coffee roaster in California operating a subscription base service. Is a must visit coffee shop in Visalia downtown.
